Thanks to Raquel, Isabelle hopped on the same dating app ad Michael. Isabelle had been pouring all her time and energy into CrossFit startup in Manhattan so there was no time for dating. So her amazing sister-in-law set up a dating profile -- without Isabelle knowing...
Enter Michael K. Davis. He was looking for love and found Isabelle Derond Cadourcy. Their first date was RYE in Williamsburg, Brooklyn just before Thanksgiving 2014. And the rest is history.

Mike received permission from Isabelle's father in the South of France. So the plan was to propose once he got back to NY City...
Trick Isabelle into thinking they needed more framed pics at home in scenic NY places like the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Then downplay the whole thing by grabbing a late lunch at Meatball Shop. Nothing romantic about it... Show up to the Botanic Garden right before they close around 6:00 PM. Set up a tripod to take a "picture" while really hitting record on the video setting...
Oh yeah, this is all on video too. 😉
